6 Tips To Lose Weight Without Changing Much

I was reading a personal training magazine and they had an article by Brian Wansink based on his book Mindless Eating. It contained tips how to lose weight with simple changes that you can do. Here are 6 tips:

  1. Use smaller plates. The larger the plate, the more likely you are to eat more.

  2. Take all chips, cereals, candy off your kitchen counters. When in sight, you will be more likely to grab it throughout the day.

  3. Put a fruit bowl on your table or counter. You'll be more likely to grab that as a snack.

  4. Reorganize your pantry so that the healthier foods are in the front and junk food is closer to the back. You are more likely to reach the items in the front.

  5. Don't eat food that matching the color of your plates. When they match, you are 18% likely to eat more.

  6. Don't do family style serving with all the food on the table. Rather serve each plate and then go to the table to eat.
