Can you believe summer is right around the corner?! Soon it will be tank top and swim suit season. Your arms are the only part of your body that everyone will see naked (think about it). Let me help you feel more "ready" to show them off with this

4 week Tank Top Arms Challenge.

Starting April 8, I'll help your arms and core get stronger, more toned and make you feel more confident in your summer clothes. All from the comfort of your own home (if you choose) and only 15 minutes a workout!

Some questions you might have:

What do the workouts consist of?

Each workout is designed to last 15 minutes and contains 7 different exercises. The workouts will be time based so you will need a Tabata Timer to do them. The 3 weekly workouts are split up by muscle groups (Shoulders & Core, Triceps, Chest & Cardio, and Biceps, Back & Obliques) so your muscles get a rest throughout the week.

 

What if I want a workout that is longer than 15 minutes?

Each workout is designed to be done 2x through, however you are more than welcome to do them 3 or even 4x through to get a longer workout in. Or since you will be getting 3 different strength workouts a week and they are split up by muscle groups, you are more than welcome to combine them. For example, you can do Workout 1 and 2 on Monday (30 min), Workout 3 on Wednesday (15 min) and Workout 1 and 2 again on Saturday (30 min). 


What equipment do I need for these workouts? 

You will need a timer (I'd recommend a Tabata Timer because you can add timed breaks into it). I will show you the exercises with body weight, resistance bands, hand weights and even items you might have around the house (ie. water bottles or books), so you can use whatever you have access to. It would be beneficial if you had some resistance doing some of these exercises, especially in weeks 3 and 4 to push yourself a little more - after all, its only 15 minutes 12x in a month!

Am I following along with you for each workout?

No- you do these workouts on your own. I do provide video instruction so you can understand what I would like for you to do with each exercise, along with modifications to make easier or harder, but it isn't meant for you to do alongside me. This might require longer than 15 minutes for each workout for prep time if you are not familiar with some exercises.

What if I am new to exercising and don't know what you are talking about in this challenge?

All fitness levels will benefits from this challenge. Don't worry! I provide video clips of me doing the exercises with different types of resistance so you can see what I am looking for with each exercise, as well as modified versions of the exercise to make them easier or more difficult based on your current level of fitness.

How do I track my progress? 

To track your physical change, at the start and end of the challenge, I will ask participants to take pictures of themselves to see their progress. I do not have the see these pictures, unless you want to share - they are for your benefit and encouragement.
