So I asked my doctor if I could do indoor rocking climbing with my husband. She asked if I used to do it before I was pregnant. I said no - I just thought it would be something fun for us to do together. She looked at me like I had 2 heads and asked why I would even think now is a good time to do that.
She said I could traverse across the rock wall, only 6 inches from the ground, which my husband can climb up and boulder. No thanks. I need to come up with another date idea with him.
It was just like how I feel when a client, who has barely walked regularly for any period of time asks me if it is okay if they go for a run or take a crossfit class.
On a different note, we got to hear the baby’s heartbeat the other day and see it moving around in there. Such a weird thing, knowing I am growing a human inside of me! But seeing it, made it more real. And has helped with the desire to eat crap. Sorry hormones - no more sugar from me!
